About this role

Field Representative Kendall County, Illinois Summary This vacancy is for a Field Representative (FR) position supporting Special Census (SC) operations for Yorkville, IL. Applicants selected will have their home as their Duty Station and will be required to travel throughout their local area. Duties Conducts interviews primarily in person (door to door) and when requested may conduct phone interviews to SC data as required within an assigned geographic area. Communicates with respondents, supervisors, and other persons as appropriate. Understands SC materials in order to explain the purpose of the SC, ask questions as worded on the questionnaire and enters accurate and complete information onto SC forms. Canvass and travel around an area in an organized manner to find and verify living quarters. Maintains personal payroll records that reflect hours worked, miles driven, and reimbursements for travel and communications claimed. Completes and attends in-person training. Requirements You must maintain a residence within the area of consideration, as listed in this announcement, that will serve as your duty station. You must be 18 years old. You must be a US Citizen. You must have good hearing and the ability to read small print. You must be in good physical condition to drive, climb stairs, and walk for extended periods. You will occasionally be required to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. You must be willing to work days, evenings, and weekends. You must be willing to work a varying number of hours per week. You must be willing to occasionally travel
