Technical & Transactional Accounting Senior Consultant San Francisco, CA, United States #LI-CR2 #LI-Hybrid About the Role: As a Technical Accounting Senior Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering specialized accounting advisory services to our dynamic client base, including high-growth technology, biotechnology, professional services, and consumer products companies. You'll support our clients through complex accounting and financial reporting matters while working alongside senior leaders and mentoring junior team members. Essential Functions and Primary Duties: Support and manage technical accounting advisory projects involving revenue recognition (ASC 606), stock-based compensation, business combinations, goodwill, leases (ASC 842), and financial reporting Assist in drafting financial statements, preparing footnotes, and performing quarterization procedures including flux analysis and support for cash flow reporting Set up and review workpapers and calculations related to ASC 340-40, earnings per share, stock-based compensation, and internally developed software Perform technical research using resources such as FASB Codification, SEC/EDGAR, Intelligize, and Big 4 guidance to support client deliverables Draft components of technical accounting memos and other workpapers with supervision Lead assigned workstreams or components of a project, managing internal timelines and contributing to overall project success Collaborate with client personnel and internal team members to deliver high-quality outcomes and maintain strong client relationships Mentor and review work of Staff Consultants, providing feedback and supporting their development Identify opportunities to improve client processes and suggest practical solutions Participate in training sessions, internal initiatives, and knowledge sharing activities Recognize and communicate opportunities to provide additional services to clients Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
