Program Manager or Sr. Engineering Program Manager San Diego, CA, United States Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Program Manager to lead a mission-critical projects for strategic customers. This role requires exceptional cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery execution to ensure the success of critical programs. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a strong background in mechanical engineering, program management, customer engagement, and technical delivery. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities : Lead end-to-end program execution for a high-visibility customer project, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables. Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, product, support, and sales to drive project milestones and resolve blockers. Develop and maintain detailed project plans , risk registers, and status reports tailored for both internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate regular executive briefings and meetings with customer and internal leadership. Proactively identify risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, SLAs, and quality standards. Drive continuous improvement and post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and best practices. Qualifications: Education Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or directly related equivalent experience required. Experience 10+ years of semiconductor equipment industry experience; backend test segment preferred with 5+ years of engineering product marketing or program management experience.
