Production Crane Operator- 1st Shift Newnan, GA, United States DEPARTMENT: Anodizing JOB TITLE: Crane Operator REPORTS TO: Shift Supervisor SHIFT DAYS /HOURS : (Mon-Fri) 5:00 am- 1:00 pm. Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary. STARTING PAY: $19.82 What You Will Be Responsible For: Maintain safety (including housekeeping), quality, and productivity to meet daily goals Communicate with other Crane Operators, Racking Team Leader, Un-racking Team Leader, Team Members, and Special Ops Department to maximize productivity and prioritize availability Acute attention to crane and affected work areas Manage carrier flow throughout shift Complete operation and mechanical inspections on crane and report/document any issues Dry parts as needed Maintain carrier flow between hold/overflow area, dryer, racking, strip line tank, un-racking area, and Special Ops by balancing availability and demand Etch and rinse carriers both empties and rework to predetermined specifications Work Environment / Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
