Extrusion Systems Operator B- 2nd Shift Newnan, GA, United States JOB TITLE: Extrusion Operator REPORTS TO: Shift Facilitator with the direction from the Team Captain SHIFT DAYS /HOURS : 2nd Shift Position Monday to Friday (1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) (40+ hours). Saturday could be scheduled as needed. Training will be on 1st shift (5:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.) Saturday scheduled as needed. STARTING PAY: $22.40 per hour + $1.00 shift differential. As an Extrusion Operator, you may be required to perform various tasks, including loading and starting Age Ovens, monitoring and removing press scrap, staging racks, loading metal and spacers, and ensuring the saw crew has all necessary supplies. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing the Stretching Operation, which involves inputting stretcher parameters for each order, initiating Auto-stretch, and visually monitoring parts for over-stretch or under-stretch conditions. It is important to keep your work areas clean and safe. To qualify for this role, you must be able to read and understand a tape measure, operate the overhead crane, drive Combi/Forklift, lift to 50 pounds, and read and understand shop orders.
