Business Development Manager- OEM Nashville, TN, United States Business Development Manager- OEM Atmus Filtration Technologies is seeking a high-energy, "roll-up-your-sleeves" Business Development Manager to drive growth within our key market segments. You won't just be presenting high-level strategies; you will be the primary architect and executor of the plans you create. This role is ideal for a sales leader who thrives on tangible product markets, OEM relationships, and the challenge of growing a business from the ground up. Strategic Execution: Develop and implement account strategies for high-priority business opportunities, transitioning from planning to active execution with limited resources. Market Analysis: Utilize market and competitor research to prioritize product segment opportunities and provide input for market-lead pricing. Relationship Management: Identify and expand business relationships within target accounts, specifically focusing on OEMs and related industrial markets. Pipeline & Forecasting: Manage the analysis and tracking of sales potential using Atmus CRM tools and processes; provide periodic reports to leadership. Team Leadership: Supervise and coach two direct reports, setting goals for their development and continuous improvement. Education Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a technical field (or equivalent experience 10+ years). Experience Minimum of 3 years of formal management experience. Significant experience in business development or sales, specifically with tangible products. Proven track record of growing a territory or "book of business". Experience with OEMs or markets such as trucking and off-highway industries is highly preferred. Ability to use market trend analysis and diagnostic probing to identify customer needs.
