This position plays a critical role in supporting drivers, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining communication across teams and vendors. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and dispatchers, addressing attendance issues and ensuring timely communication. Collaborate closely with the Safety Manager to ensure field operations comply with company safety policies and standards. Coordinate with external repair vendors by initiating service requests, negotiating pricing, and reviewing invoices for accuracy. Support the implementation and enforcement of company safety regulations and procedures. Assist with driver recruitment and onboarding, including participating in interviews and conducting safety orientations. Organize and lead regular safety meetings and training sessions for drivers. Manage yard inventory and optimize space utilization to maintain an efficient and organized yard. Qualifications: Entry level to 3 years of experience in logistics or transportation. Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a high level of reliability, accountability, and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, for data entry and communication.
