St. Elizabeth specializes in the treatment areas of newborn and pediatric care, women's health, burn and wound, cardiology, oncology, emergency medicine, orthopedics and neuroscience. Job Summary and Responsibilities $5,000 sign-on bonus plus $10,000 educational assistance available to external candidates!! What you will do: Greets patient utilizing AIDET, verifies patient in identification, reviews chart for proper radiation treatment parameters and physician prescriptions Informs patients and families about the treatment process and answers questions Prepares patients for treatment. Positions equipment according to plan Takes portal films or IGRT scans to ensure treatment protocols are accurately set up and followed Verifies proper dosage of ionizing radiation for patient as prescribed by physician Monitors patient throughout treatment process by checking video monitors and intercom Informs physician anytime patient experiences distress or side effects related to treatment process Records each patients' treatment in EMR and proper notes for accurate treatment and set-up Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the filed by reading appropriate journals, books, and other literature and attending related seminars, conferences and education opportunities Job Requirements
