OB Surgical Tech Certified UNAVAILABLE, UNAVAILABLE, UNAVAILABLE Where You'll Work The Labor and Delivery department at St. Francis Hospital, an established Magnet® hospital, is a unit with ten high-risk antepartum beds and 12 LDR suites, with 250 deliveries per month. We have two ORs, a three-bay PACU and a seven- bed OB Emergency Department. Our department has a mission to ensure the families of Southern Colorado have the safest care while delivering their babies. We offer self-scheduling and great teamwork. As an OB Surgical Tech you will: Assist in smooth daily operations of the Labor & Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum unit. Assist with vaginal deliveries under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provider and within scope of practice. Function as a Scrub Tech for surgical procedures. Maintain supplies and equipment on the unit. Assist with maintenance of Point of Care Testing and High Level Disinfection equipment. Perform clerical and business support tasks as assigned.
