Our full range of medical services includes trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging. Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Dosimetrist, you will work under the supervision of the Lead Physicist to assist the Radiation Oncologist in providing safe and effective treatment to radiation therapy patients.Every day you will perform specific duties under the overall direction of medical physicists and direct supervision of the Lead Medical Physicist, ensuring precise treatment planning and delivery. You will also be responsible for renewing credentials annually and adhering to ethical standards.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of radiation oncology principles, and the ability to work collaboratively within a highly specialized team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety. Designs accurate treatment plans by means of computer and/or manual computation that delivers prescribed radiation doses as prescribed by the treating radiation oncologist.
