Credit Associate - Private Banking Commercial Real Estate Los Angeles, California; Irvine, California; New York, New York CREDIT ASSOCIATE- Private Banking Commercial Real Estate WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Credit Associate-Private Banking Commercial Real Estate is responsible for supporting credit analysis and portfolio management activities. This role involves assisting with credit data analysis, underwriting, and portfolio review activities including facilitating credit risk recommendation. The Credit Associate may be assigned a book of lower-complexity loans and relationships. The Credit Associate collaborates with team members to ensure effective credit operations. The Credit Associate helps maintain high standards of credit quality and compliance. WHAT WILL YOU DO? In partnership with Portfolio Managers and Credit Lead, this role will support the Private Banking Commercial Real Estate portfolio, while is comprised largely of mini-perm loans to high net worth individuals and family offices across a variety of product types (multifamily, retail, industrial, office, self-storage, and unsecured). Experience working with high net worth / private banking / wealth management clients is preferred. Candidate must have foundational understanding of personal financial statements, real estate schedules, and tax returns. On occasion, this role may support other CRE verticals in the bank, including institutional real estate and construction lending. Credit Analysis: Performs credit analysis activities to assess creditworthiness of borrowers, guarantors, and sponsors. Performance Monitoring: Performs portfolio management activities to monitor and analyze portfolio performance, including periodic reviews and covenant tracking.
