Role Overview: CHAOS is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Systems Engineer to design, build, and maintain Special Test Equipment (STE), Ground Support Equipment (GSE), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) infrastructure used to develop, integrate, test, and validate advanced sensor, avionics, and embedded systems in R&D, production, and field environments. This role is responsible for the electrical architecture, integration, and sustainment of automated test racks, interface test adapters (ITAs), cable assemblies, instrumentation, and subsystem interconnects. The ideal candidate has experience developing complex electronic test systems using commercial instrumentation and industry-standard interfaces within aerospace, defense, or high-performance embedded system environments. This is a full-time, on-site position in El Segundo, CA. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, integrate, and sustain automated STE/GSE systems for sensor, avionics, and embedded hardware platforms - Architect test racks, interface test adapters (ITAs), cable assemblies, subsystem interconnects, and instrumentation interfaces - Integrate and troubleshoot commercial test equipment
