About this role
Commissioning Tech I Chaffee, MO, US Overview Position Summary: Responsible for working within a team to perform required system inspections on utility PV power plants. Perform mechanical inspections and electrical testing. Document all inspection findings and test results. Communicate inspection findings and test results with Commissioning Lead. Document and assist with PV system trouble shooting and corrective actions. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Assist with the inspection of PV plants to specifications of construction documents Complete all commissioning documentation during inspection Document all outstanding issues and deliver all documentation in a neat and orderly manner for review by the Lead Assist Commissioning Lead with field test data entry as needed Perform final visual and mechanical inspections on equipment before energization date Support third party testing and inspections. (Transformers, MV audits, MV cable tests, Fiber optics, etc.) Ensure site documentation is prepared for upcoming testing sites Ensure proper use of PPE and conformity to safety procedures by all employees Keep tools clean and orderly at all times Report any missing or broken tools to Lead and inform Lead when consumable supplies are low Care for and maintain all issued PPE in accordance with manufacturer's specifications Work independently as a member of the team Work together with other Techs ensuring quality of work and adherence to all safety procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and Wo
