About this role
Transportation Planner 4 CDM Smith currently has an exciting opportunity for a Transportation Planner to join our growing South Florida Transportation group. In this position, you will support multi-modal projects with a focus in transit-related work assignment to help ensure client goals are met. You will coordinate with multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver planning projects and assist with marketing and business development activities. **This position can be based in any of our South Florida Offices - Plantation, Miami or Boca Raton** As an important team member, you will serve our clients and deliver on exciting opportunities by: • Supporting project managers and leading tasks on transit-focused and other transportation planning projects included in CDM Smith's span of services (bus, rail, complete streets, and project development). • Working with current staff to enhance our transportation and transit planning service capabilities in South Florida. • Assisting in the development and execution of project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and helping monitor project performance. • Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to support project delivery. • Contributing to technical analyses, reports, and planning deliverables for multimodal transportation projects. • Assisting with marketing and business development efforts to help expand our client base and project opportunities with Florida transportation agencies.
