About this role
Environmental Engineer 6 (Hydraulics & Pumping) Working independently, provides oversight and expert technical guidance on moderate to highly complex engineering designs involving piping system hydraulics and pump system hydraulics including hydraulic modeling and calculations, equipment vendor coordination, development of detailed design drawings and specifications, and construction submittal reviews. Successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in below listed areas. • Detailed mechanical equipment design (Screen, Air Blower, Compressors, Decanter, and Belt Press) experience for water and wastewater treatment plants and conveyance systems. • Medium/Large Pumps & Pump station design, including medium/large diameter pipeline. • Specialized in pump selections and developing mechanical specifications. • Design and implementation of rotating equipment and process treatment equipment • Transient analysis and design will be added advantage. • Pipe stress analysis and pipe support design and drawings will be added advantage • Experience using AFT Fathom or equivalent software for pumping network • Ability to generate and understand P&IDs. • Familiar with the principles of energy auditing and experience with energy modeling Software.
