Staff Software Engineer San Francisco | OnSite WHY CASCA? Casca is building AGI for banking. We're replacing decades-old legacy systems with AI-native technology that automates 90% of the manual work humans once had to do. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Projected Division of Responsibilities: 70% contributing code / 30% collaborating with stakeholders and mentoring - Lead Strategy with Urgency: Drive architectural decisions that support long-term stability while maintaining the pace required by a fast-growing banking platform. You will identify critical paths and make high-stakes technical calls to keep the organization moving efficiently. - Balance Coding & Leadership: Maintain a projected division of roughly 70% contributing high-quality code and 30% driving technical alignment. You will be expected to ship individually while unblocking the wider team. - Drive Execution: Lead the development of complex initiatives by chunking and sequencing work to maximize parallelization. You will be responsible for maintaining high throughput and ensuring features reach production without unnecessary delays. - Amplify the Team: Amplify your skills and vision by supporting the growth of the team.
