Senior Trader - Grains & Oilseeds Location not specified Requisition Number: 45112 Senior Trader - Grains & Oilseeds | Egypt Location Cairo (Maadi) Role Overview The Senior Trader is accountable for the commercial performance and execution of grains and oilseeds trading activities in Egypt, acting as the primary interface between the local market and Head Office in Geneva. The Egyptian market is relationship‑driven and execution‑intensive, requiring strong local credibility, disciplined commercial judgment, and a solid understanding of regional supply chains and global market flows. Key Responsibilities Full commercial ownership of grains and oilseeds trading activities in Egypt Manage and develop long‑term relationships with key local customers, suppliers, and counterparties Oversee deal execution, contract performance, logistics alignment, and commercial follow‑up Act as the local point of reference for Geneva Head Office on: Market positioning Supply‑and‑demand dynamics Trade flows and logistical constraints Provide structured input on macro‑economic and market developments impacting Egypt, including FX environment, freight, and Suez Canal related disruptions Ensure alignment with internal functions (Execution, Finance, Contract Desk) to support disciplined P&L delivery Participate in regional and global trading discussions and value‑chain calls Experience & Profile 5+ years of relevant senior‑level experience in physical grains and/or oilseeds trading Deep understanding of the Egyptian commodity market, including customer behav
