About this role
Refinery Operations Manager Decatur, AL Requisition Number: 42835 A Day in the Life: Responsible for the safe and efficient day-to-day Crush, Refinery, Milling or Packaging production operations. Support the Plant Manager in monitoring and improving plant productivity. What You'll Be Doing: Cultivate a safety culture where unsafe acts are not tolerated and employees and management have a common Oversee assigned facility production activities (crush, refinery, milling, packaging, warehouse, boiler house, and/or elevator) to ensure operations are running at the highest levels of efficiency Manage monthly sanitation inspections and lead, monitor and ensure corrective actions are completed as necessary. Track and report facility productivity improvements Approve daily reports and KPRs for department, may be responsible for two or more departments Support and develop Crush, Refinery, Milling and/or Packaging Supervisors in operations issues and trouble shooting. Assist the Plant Manager in planning annual shutdowns Oversee the Process Safety Management programs, where applicable Work with the Safety/Environmental Manager to ensure compliance in all aspects Responsible for developing and driving Operations Excellence Plans to help meet safety, quality and production goals and show continuous improvement throughout the facility Support the continuous improvement activities and act as a change agent for any changes that occur in the facility Monitor KPR's throughout the facility and help develop plans to bring teams in lin
