About this role
Meal Operator Altona Requisition Number: 45419 A Day in the Life: The Meal Load‑Out Operator plays a critical role in the safe loading and shipment of finished meal products while supporting efficient plant operations. This position is responsible for loading railcars and trucks, maintaining housekeeping standards, and ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and operating procedures. Through attention to detail, equipment knowledge, and strong teamwork, the Meal Load‑Out Operator helps protect product integrity, maintain accurate records, and support reliable, safe operations within the Crush Department. Position Details: This is a full-time position and typically involves 10-hour shifts, which may include day and evening hours, and weekends. The current rotation requires working two out of every five weekends. Work Schedules: There are two primary operating shifts and one maintenance shift: Operating Shifts: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM with a paid half-hour lunch Maintenance Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with a unpaid half-hour lunch Pay Rate: $27.41 per hour Bunge offers a variety of benefits including health and wellness plans, retirement contribution and paid vacation/holidays. What You'll Be Doing: Load meal into railcars and trucks, ensuring product integrity and adherence to safety and quality standards.
