Job Description: To collect, return to storage, maintain, and issue uniforms, make alterations/repairs, distribute/check-in uniforms, and perform other miscellaneous duties. Collect Uniforms: Check for damages on returned uniforms, locate proper uniforms to issue, assign employee numbers. Alterations / Repairs: Fit uniforms for new / present team members as well as repair and alter already distributed uniforms. Uniform Cleaning: Complete intake of soiled uniforms, hand-cleaned uniforms, dry cleaned uniforms, and verify / hand deliver cleaned uniforms to team members. Inventory: Upkeep of assigned and unassigned uniforms is maintained by department and sized in a ready to wear condition. When uniforms are returned (team member leaves company, transfers, etc.), the team member number is removed, the pieces are checked for wear, tear, and cleaned or destroyed before returning to inventory. Inventory storage and movement in completed by the incumbent. Miscellaneous: Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications: Strong sewing and alteration skills, and knowledge of sizes.
