Job Description: The Host/Cashier is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The position is also responsible for greeting guests, arranging for prompt seating, and for performing all sales transactions. This individual is responsible for ensuring that guests feel welcome and comfortable in accordance with Belterra Casino Resort customer service standards. The Host/Cashier: Is responsible for actively building and retaining customer relations and acts as a mentor to other employees while providing superior customer service. Has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers. Greets guests in a friendly, courteous manner and arranges for seating; monitors room atmosphere. Provides information on all aspects of Boyd Gaming's services and facilities to guests. Quotes accurate waiting times and handles guest waiting lists or reservations in accordance with established procedures.
