Job Description: The Heavy Duty Porter - EVS/Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of assigned facilities. This role involves performing a wide range of cleaning and maintenance tasks, from routine daily cleaning to specialized detail work, while ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and operated safely. Key Responsibilities: • Clean and maintain all public areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairways, locker rooms, and other assigned spaces • Perform detailed cleaning tasks such as high dusting, carpet shampooing, floor stripping, and specialized surface care • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including stripping machines, carpet shampooers, and floor sweepers, with regular preventative maintenance • Remove trash, debris, and waste materials from all assigned areas using appropriate disposal methods • Clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaners, brooms, and shampoo machines • Perform elevated cleaning tasks, including working from 10-foot ladders to clean elevator tracks, light fixtures, and high-reach areas • Handle biohazard and biochemical
