Description: Material Flow and Lineside Planning Team member responsible for supporting logistics planning initiatives across the plant. Team member will support series changes and new vehicle launches across both assembly halls, bodyshop and/or with integrating new logistics innovation projects. There are multiple positions with logistics planning that will focus on different areas of the plant. The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions: Supporting implementation of autonomous logistics vehicles in the plant. Running of weekly/monthly reporting documents. Lineside Transition Organization and Support for series packages. Logistics parts list checks and maintenance. Head count planning for logistics processes for new vehicle launches. Planning of floor space for part storage (high bay racking, block storage, supermarkets). Planning material flow deliveries for future derivatives. Maintaining BMW layouts using layout software. Project
