Job Description: Understands the company's vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly. Manages technical support staff, which includes allocating tasks, managing workload to optimize time, customer satisfaction, disciplinary action and personal development of staff. Responsible for the purchase, installation and life-cycle maintenance of all systems based equipment. Provides escalated on-site support of hardware, software and network connectivity issues. Coordinates and directs the activities of staff, key users and/or consultants in cross-organizational and cross-functional teams of various size & scope. Continuously updates Business Leadership & Senior IT Management on incident management issues/resolution & next steps Manages vendor relationships to understand new technologies and leverage existing technologies. Develops, maintains and implements standards, policies, and procedures for the IT Infrastructure that ensures authorized use and compliance. Reports and tracks metrics related to server, storage and related systems.
