We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee core accounting operations in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment. This role will manage financial reporting, the month-end close process, internal controls, and compliance while leading and developing a high-performing accounting team. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting expertise and thrives in a dynamic, evolving regulatory landscape. Fintech or crypto experience is preferred but not required. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Financial Reporting & Close - Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. - Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS. - Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting. - Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Technical Accounting - Research and interpret accounting standards and apply them to complex transactions.. - Develop accounting policies and ensure consistent application across the organization. - Partner with external auditors on technical accounting matters and audit deliverables. Internal Controls & Compliance - Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting. - Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements. - Support internal and external audit processes.
