We are seeking a high-caliber Associate to lead and evolve our global Compliance Assurance and Testing program . This is a pivotal role within our second line of defense (2LoD), responsible for not only executing complex testing but also driving the governance frameworks that ensure our global entities remain compliant with evolving regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic risk management, providing actionable insights to senior leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our global footprint. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Lead the design and periodic enhancement of monitoring and testing (M&T) methodologies, ensuring they align with global regulatory standards (e.g., AML/CTF, Sanctions, Conduct Risk). - Lead high-impact testing reviews, focusing on complex control environments and high-risk business units. - Synthesise testing results into thematic reports for the MLROs and Board-level stakeholders, highlighting systemic risks rather than just isolated gaps. - Drive the "Issue Management" lifecycle by challenging remediation plans to ensure they address the root cause rather than just the symptoms. - Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to business partners, providing "consultative"
