This position functions as the BETA Technologies Subject Matter Expert for Ultrasonic Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) techniques. The ideal candidate is a Level III in Ultrasonic and will have experience with inspecting composites. This candidate will aid in the development of the processes, procedures, and training of new technicians. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: Establish Ultrasonic inspection process and procedures in accordance with aerospace requirements Establish and lead Ultrasonic NDI training program for other BETA team members to become Level I or II Perform NDI on parts and assemblies as required Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent Ability to read and interpret blueprints and Engineering drawings Level III (per NAS410) certification in Ultrasonic NDI At least 5 years of experience with NDI Proficient in the use of typical Ultrasonic inspection equipment, including (but not limited to) Phased-Array and Bond Test flaw detectors Be capable of providing or directing training, examination, and certification of personnel Conduct NDI for the acceptance of parts and document the results if a demonstration of proficiency in this ability is included in the practical examination When required by the written
