We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented mechanical / design engineer. This engineer will work as part of the team developing, designing, and testing BETA's electric aircraft and supporting the Flight Control Systems team. Working on the Flight Control Systems team, you will be responsible for the development and design of the Flight Control System from component design to installation drawings, as well as supporting both certification and verification of flight control system components. You will play a key role in the support of Flight Control systems, testing, and integration. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: Support production drawings and technical documentation release Perform GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design challenges Participate in design reviews and system integration efforts Develop and execute design tests and test setups Create comprehensive test reports and technical documentation, and design documents Utilize CATIA CAD for detailed mechanical design and drafting Assist in the development of aircraft and test environment documentation Prepare briefing materials for technical meetings and program reviews Minimum Qualifications: B.S.
