Litigation-Licensing Manager Intellectual Properties (m/f/d) Country / Location Germany WELCOME TO BASF Our Global Intellectual Property service unit is one of the largest in-house IP departments in Germany. We are responsible for all services related to patents, trademarks, trade secrets, plant variety rights, copyrights, designs, and IP intelligence, as well as all contracts in this field. As a global team, we serve the entire BASF Group and are closely networked with the operational business units as well as the research and technology platforms. In this way, we lay the foundation for future business success and actively influence BASF's competitive position. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT The IP department at BASF Personal Care & Nutrition GmbH is seeking an expert in digital licensing to start as soon as possible. Your expertise is in demand! You will build up BASF's monetization setup overseeing multiple initiatives by generating buy-in from multiple stakeholders, including general management, and executing in an outcome-driven manner. You assess litigation and licensing cases with regard to legal and financial implications and prepare sound recommendations for strategic decision-making. In your new position, you lead cross‑technological litigation and licensing teams to drive complex business cases to successful outcomes for BASF. Additionally, you co-develop negotiation strategies for licensing and settlement agreements with business units and guide negotiation preparation as well as negotiation teams.
