About this role

GDD/PE - Digital Solution Designer (M/F/D) Country / Location India Your main responsibilities: • Being part of a diverse global team and working with colleagues on complex IT projects in the Manufacturing area delivering crucial solutions to businesses, functions, and operations across BASF • Consulting, implementing, and supporting the full lifecycle of our products globally with focus on SAP PP & PP/PI • Leading IT project manufacturing workstreams and performing all required workstream tasks from requirement engineering till after go live tasks • Understand and analyze business requirements and translate them to system solutions by conducting functional design, development, deployment, modelling and configuring of the system as well as setting up master data. • Willingness to learn, adopt and drive to new technologies and tools • Ensure close team collaboration to leverage available knowledge sessions. • Identifying and implementing improvements in each project and advising the management team in an emphatic and competent manner. • Actively pull and take over tasks and work self-organized. Our main requirements: • A university degree in the area of computer science or similar • Several years of experience as IT consulting for IT projects in production environment for chemical or processing industry, with strong customer focus. • Extended expertise as SAP PP & PP/PI consultant is a must (PP/PI must include expertise also in PP planning). • Ability to focus on goals/results by getting things done and drive them forward. • Convincing and com
