About this role
GDB/ZI - API Management Specialist (M/F/D) Country / Location India Objectives You will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of API-Proxies while ensuring compliance with all relevant BASF development guidelines. Beyond that you will support respective testing and error correction activities. You create and further develop concepts for operation topics and implement them in our team. Implement automation for our API-Management by using the management APIs of the related software components. Consulting of projects on the setup of integration scenarios in the area of API-Management. Coaching and training of colleagues in the development of APIs. Investigate new tools on the market and check how they can support BASF in their digital strategy Job Requirements Focus on the minimum requirements to carry out the work - you might want to point out “additional plus/nice to have skills” that are not mandatory Education and work Experience Degree in computer science, information technology, business informatics, or a related discipline At least 5 years of relevant professional experience Familiarity with Agile methodologies or experience in Agile implementation Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multicultural DevOps teams. Experience in large-scale enterprise environments is highly desirable.
