WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Join our international Financial Reporting team and start your career as an Accountant. In this position you are responsible for the general ledger activities and act as an interface between different departments and our group headquarters. You work closely with our group companies and ensure that all accounting processes run smoothly. In doing so, you have the opportunity to continuously expand and apply your financial reporting expertise. In this role, you process business transactions in the general ledger and in asset & lease accounting, as well as reconciliation of sub-ledgers. Moreover, you prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and HGB/local GaaP standards for European BASF Group companies in a timely manner. You support income tax calculations and provide input to group reporting. In addition, you are the central contact person in accounting matters for our subsidiaries, other finance departments, central finance units of BASF as well as external auditors.
