About the Role The Materials Associate is responsible for accurately processing all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining organized and clean work areas, verifying product quality, and ensuring proper documentation for every order. This role requires attention to detail, safe material handling, and active communication with the production team to meet customer expectations and production schedules. What You'll Do Shipping: - Securely package and wrap all products to prevent damage during transit. - Verify paperwork accuracy using ERP to ensure the correct quantity and parts are shipped. - Generate accurate bills of lading and maintain organized shipping documentation. - Monitor conveyor lines, remove finished units, and load products into trailers or storage areas. - Inspect products for quality and packaging compliance before shipment. - Stretch wrap and prepare pallets for delivery. - Track critical daily shipping items and update the production team on status. - Forklift and pallet jack operation: safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move materials and equipment within the warehouse. - Recycling: manage the recycling of materials as needed, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maintaining a clean workspace.
