We are engineers, operators, and creatives solving some of the most complex, interdisciplinary challenges of our time. About the Role As a Market Operations Engineer at Base Power, you'll play a critical role at the intersection of energy wholesale markets and real-time operations. You will help optimize the performance of Base's fleet of distributed, behind-the-meter batteries across ERCOT and other markets. Your work will span ISO stakeholder engagement, technical and business analysis, and hands-on support of our real-time operations team to drive asset value. What You'll Do - Monitor and interpret ISO protocols, regulatory updates, and market rule changes through active participation in ISO stakeholder processes. - Conduct asset deployment valuation and technical analysis to inform business development and strategic initiatives. - Develop white papers and recommendations to support market development efforts. - Collaborate with the real-time asset management team to maximize operational revenue from distributed battery fleets.
