Responsible for the overall function of marketing, underwriting, and placement of new business accounts submitted by the Sales Team and the consistent quality output of the Risk Placement team. The Risk Placement Department Director maintains and fosters a positive working relationship with insurance carrier marketing, underwriting and support staff; has in-depth knowledge of markets, products, and coverages; and serves as a resource in this capacity for the Marketing and Risk Placement Analysts and Sales Executives. The Risk Placement Department Director also fosters effective communication and information-sharing with Business Insurance Service staff and management, Business Insurance Sales staff and management, and Senior Management, and ultimately achieves exceeds-expectations delivery of service.
