VP, Relationship Manager Menlo Park, CA Axos Bank Target Range: $90,000.00/Yr. - $150,000.00/Yr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. About This Job The Vice President, Relationship Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with venture‑backed, technology‑focused companies and their financial sponsors. This role serves as a primary client contact, delivering tailored banking and credit solutions while driving new business growth, portfolio performance, and long‑term client engagement. The ideal candidate brings strong relationship management skills, a consultative sales approach, and a solid understanding of the venture and technology ecosystem, including founder‑led and sponsor‑backed growth companies. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of venture‑backed and technology clients, including founders, executive leadership teams, and financial sponsors Originate and develop new client relationships through direct sourcing, referrals, venture capital and private equity networks, and industry events Deliver a full suite of banking and credit solutions tailored to high‑growth technology companies, including credit facilities, treasury management, and deposit products Partner closely with Credit, Underwriting, Treasury, Legal, and Operations teams to structure, underwrite, and execute transactions efficiently Drive portfolio growth while maintaining sound credit quality and adherence to internal policies and risk standards Identify opportunities to deepen existing client
