About This Job The Senior Internal Auditor role is designed for professionals ready to take ownership of audit work, apply professional judgment, and influence risk discussions across the organization. Seniors play a key role in executing audits, mentoring junior staff, and partnering with management.This position is well-suited for auditors who want exposure to complex banking risks, increased visibility with senior leaders, and opportunities to grow into leadership roles - particularly those passionate about leveraging data, AI, and software solutions to modernize audit practices. Responsibilities: Lead operational audits from planning through reporting, with a focus on technology-driven risk areas Perform risk assessments and identify key controls and testing strategies, utilizing data modeling and analytics to enhance risk coverage Review Staff Auditor work and provide coaching and feedback Evaluate control effectiveness across business processes using AI-assisted testing and data analysis techniques Draft concise, impactful audit observations and reports for management Support regulatory examinations and Audit Committee materials Partner with business stakeholders to discuss risks, root causes, and remediation Lead the application of data analytics, AI-enabled tools, and audit software to
