Sr. Propulsion Technician Homestead, Florida, United States AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today's five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. Job Description: The successful Propulsion Technician will work satellite propulsion assembly & testing including production, work instructions, and non-conformance reporting. They will also support the propulsion engineering team for activities related to the propulsion system production and performance. The successful candidate will be innovative, creative, and challenge the status quo. They will work well in teams while also having the ability to lead a small team and to work assignments autonomously. Responsibilities: - Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and program requirements. - Perform propulsion system assembly, test, and quality control tasks utilizing work instructions and detailed test procedures. - Develop and maintain propulsion assembly documentation at the subassembly level: assembly reports, non-conformance reports, test procedures and setups, tooling, and manufacturing drawings. - Maintain test and inventory databases for all propulsion production related activities. - Troubleshoot and assist investigations for component anomalies and failures, root-cause analysis, and disposition. - Develop reference performance test plans and procedures, identify hardware needs, design
