Position Overview The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and shop equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position ensures all systems and machinery operate efficiently and safely while supporting preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain production and shop equipment in satisfactory condition under the direction of the Equipment Maintenance Manager. - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment faults. - Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities as required to ensure equipment reliability. - Document all repairs, parts usage, and PMs in the CMMS or similar maintenance software. - Install, align, and calibrate mechanical and electrical components as needed. - Use precision tools such as calipers, multimeters, and alignment devices for diagnostics. - Support continuous improvement efforts and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: - Associate's degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, or related field. - Equivalent experience, military training, or vocational education may be considered. Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, or electromechanical maintenance
