We are proud to be part of Associated British Foods plc, which is a £19.8bn FTSE 100 company. Speedibake are recruiting for Manufacturing Technicians. As a Manufacturing Technician you will be responsible for the efficient operation of bakery plant equipment throughout ensuring it operates within high performing parameters. Therefore, job roles are not area specific but will be rotated throughout the whole plant. The role influences health, safety, environment, quality, food safety, service, cost and the efficiency of the line. This is achieved through your ability to identify issues early, communicate well with team members and resolve day-to-day issues. Key Accountabilities • The accountabilities for this role are varied, spanning production, engineering, quality and hygiene. • Minimise Lost Time Injuries, aiming for zero. • Where appropriate, close out all reported hazards in 72 hours depending on severity. • Conduct risk assessments for all line tasks and write supporting SOP's. • Identify and report and resolve any potential hazards or near misses to assist in the prevention of accidents. • Carry out safety walk and talks. • Carry out and record all required
