About this role
Maintenance A - Destrehan, LA Maintenance A - Destrehan, LA ADM Grain This is a full-time, hourly position Potential assignments include, but are not limited to: - Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems, using vibration analysis, temperature readers, and hazmon.to keep plant well maintained and running. - Perform daily routine checks on equipment and perform CSD, magnehelic readings, and weekly preventive maintenance checks and record daily and weekly reports for these findings. - Mechanically work on belt conveyors, drag conveyors, loading equipment, and various pieces of equipment throughout the facility. - Work to complete tasks such as: unplugging dust pipes, sampler pipes, training belts, and various task to keep facility in a safe and operating manner. - Perform monthly checks on all hazard monitored equipment and fix accordingly to need, ie: speed switches, rub switches, temperature probes, and plug switches. - Work with employees on equipment failures that may exceed longer than shift or on breakdowns outside of scheduled time. The job responsibilities for the hourly employees will vary with the different positions throughout the plant. ADM/Growmark expects all its employees to assume the safety responsibilities listed below: - Evacuate when the alarm is sounded or given to the assembly area designated - Ensure safe working environment for all employees by enforcing all safety rules and procedures - To participate in the plant orientation program upon employment and thereafter annually - To read and abide by all safety rules, procedures and practices - To participate in all safety meetings and training
