Looking for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude to learn skills as a mold technician. The right candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, organization skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.This person will work independently, as well as in a team environment, doing all aspects of injection mold preventative maintenance and troubleshooting / problem solving. No prior experience required. We'll train the right person. As a Mold Technician, You Will Full Disassembly and reassembly of molds Cleaning of mold components (hand and tank processes) Cleaning and changing of ultrasonic wash unit and coolant tanks In-Press mold preventative maintenance Perform mold component conversions in multi-cavity tooling Housekeeping and 5S activity Hydraulic Cylinder Maintenance and Repair Repair of molds for increased cavitation. Problem solving. Root cause analysis of issues Use of mold books, torque charts and SOP's Who We are Looking For Strong mechanical ability, organizational skills and communication Use of hand and pneumatic tools High school diploma or GED Ability to work well within a team environment as well as self-directed Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs. Prior experience in a Tooling or Manufacturing atmosphere is a bonus Blueprint knowledge.
