JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a skilled CAM Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision machining. The ideal candidate will translate engineering drawings and CAD models into efficient machining instructions, ensuring high-quality production while minimizing cycle time and material waste. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Create and modify CNC programs using CAM software for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines - Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements - Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies - Simulate and verify toolpaths to prevent collisions and ensure accuracy - Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production teams to improve manufacturability - Optimize programs for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness - Troubleshoot machining issues and revise programs as needed - Maintain documentation for programs, tooling setups, and processes - Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards SKILLS
