Staff/Sr. iOS Engineer - AI, Search & Knowledge Platforms Cupertino, United States of America Do you want to make Apple products smarter for our users? The Information Intelligence teams are building groundbreaking technology for algorithmic search, machine learning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence. The features we build are redefining how hundreds of millions of people use their computers and mobile devices to search and find what they are looking for. Our infrastructure powers search features across a variety of Apple products, including Apple Intelligence, Siri, Spotlight, Safari, Messages and multi-modal Lookup. As part of this group, you will work with one of the most exciting high performance computing environments, with petabytes of data, millions of queries per second, and have an opportunity to imagine and build products that delight our customers every single day. As a member of the team you'll have the opportunity to work with specialists in their field enabling software feature development delivering Apple Intelligence to customers. This position requires a proactive engineer with strong technical skills to handle challenges. Prototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definition Implementing Swift frameworks that adhere to defined API contracts Collaborating with our product cross-functional teams Participating in architecture and code reviews Building internal engineering tools as necessary Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of experience with Swift programming, ObjC is a plus Expertise in working with Concurrency primitives Experience with Performance Profiling, Memory and Optimization techniques Understanding of client/server architectures Proficiency with SDK APIs, Apple Developer Tools (Xcode, Instruments)
