We are seeking an experienced engineering manager with a background in large-scale distributed systems and data platform engineering in hyper-scale environments. This is a technical, hands-on leadership role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will lead a world-class team building the foundational infrastructure and core capabilities that power Apple's security data platform. Apple Information Security is seeking an extraordinary individual to lead the Platform Technologies team - an engineering team responsible for the foundational ecosystem and core capabilities that power our security monitoring. Platform Technologies designs and develops solutions that enable mission-critical capabilities across the organization, delivering advanced query and indexing capabilities, core platform libraries and APIs, and data integration services that teams depend on to build and operate effectively at scale. This role works closely with peer engineering teams and partner organizations across Apple to ensure the successful design, development, and delivery of platform capabilities. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise in distributed systems and data infrastructure, a track record of leading high-performing engineering teams, and the ability to drive a long-term technical vision while executing near-term results.
