Claris International Inc., an Apple company, is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive the technical direction and architecture for robust data platforms and client-facing solutions. In this role, you will combine deep database architecture expertise with hands-on delivery rigor, ensuring projects are executed on time, to specification, and with production-grade quality. You will translate client requirements into scalable, secure technical designs while fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability. As a FileMaker Senior Engineer, you will serve as the technical lead responsible for architecting and delivering mission-critical database solutions that directly impact our clients' success. You will partner closely with Server teams and internal stakeholders to transform business requirements into clear, detailed database architectures. By owning the end-to-end technical lifecycle of client-facing database solutions, your technical leadership will ensure that every schema, data model, and pipeline is designed for long-term operability, security, and performance. Design autonomous frameworks using self-healing scripts and AI-First Automation tools to drastically reduce manual maintenance and speed up delivery. Build specialized evaluation harnesses to measure hallucination rates, and the reliability of output. Leverage AI-powered tools to rapidly generate comprehensive test suites and edge cases directly from code and user stories. Establish rigorous testing standards for bias detection, safety, and regulatory compliance to ensure ethical AI deployments across the enterprise.
