In this highly visible role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Apple Products, and leave a footprint for years to come. We have an opportunity for an accomplished mechanical engineer to lead development and ramp for a next generation Apple product. Manufacturing Process Engineer responsibilities include: - Review and provide feedback on design/design intent of components and assemblies. - Set standard manufacturing practices and independently determine impact to design and parameters to the final product. - Partner with internal and external cross functional teams to evaluate design and processes at concept phase and set expectations for manufacturing processes. - Develop new and/or improved processes for parts and assemblies through the application of theoretical and practical engineering. - Drive corrective actions cross-functionally with internal and external team members. - Drive design experiments to prove out manufacturing processes or design iterations.
