About this role
Manager, Software Image Quality, Creativity Apps Cupertino, United States of America The Creativity Apps team is looking for a Software Image Quality Manager to lead, mentor, and grow a team of Image Quality Engineers fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. It requires a highly proactive individual with strong creative, technical, and analytic skills, and a passion for new technologies related to image/color science, computer vision/on-device machine learning. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, maintaining, and overseeing the evaluation and validation of AI and ML models used in photo and video editing features, ensuring their accuracy, performance, and impact on image/video quality. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to understand feature requirements, identify potential quality risks, and help mitigate them throughout the development lifecycle. Establish and maintain objective and subjective image quality metrics and benchmarks. Champion a quality-first culture across the organization, present quality findings to product and leadership teams. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership capacity, managing a team. 5+ years of experience in imaging, video processing, or computational photography quality. Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Image Processing, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience. Prior experience in image quality evaluation and testing for photo and video applications. Strong understanding of digital image processing, color/image science, compression algorithms, and video codecs. Experience with AI/ML model evaluation and validation, particularly in computer vision or image manipulation contexts. Knowledge
