Our work includes features like Grid Forecast, Clean Energy Charging, Clean Energy Guidance, Electricity Usage & Rates, and the EnergyKit developer framework introduced at WWDC. We are taking this work to the next level - and looking for a leader to take it there with us. The right leader has led engineering teams through multiple product cycles, shipped consumer products at Apple's quality bar, and operates with confidence in cross-org rooms with senior leadership. As Software Engineering Manager for Home Energy, you will lead an experienced team of engineers shipping cross-platform energy features and growing EnergyKit into a category-defining developer platform. You will partner closely with Apple's server-side energy team on partner integrations (e.g. utilities, appliance providers, OEMs), and represent Home Energy in cross-functional collaboration spanning Design, Environment, Services, Privacy, Security, Legal and Software Engineering leadership. You will set technical direction, guide architecture and design, and drive execution from early development through product ship across Apple platforms.
