As a member of the Product Design FEA team, you will use your understanding of mechanics, materials, and numerical methods to play a pivotal role in predictive engineering and directly impact the success of new iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Vision Pro, and many more future products. As a core member of the product design team, you will contribute to envisioning the future of the FEA workflow and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to develop the necessary tools to achieve it. Your responsibilities will encompass exploring the latest Large Language Models (LLMs) and Machine Learning (ML) tools, identifying optimal integration strategies within the FEA workflow, and designing experiments to characterize materials, advance constitutive models, and validate them across various levels of complexity. Additionally, you will conduct predictive finite element simulations to inform product design decisions. Your integration with the product design team will extend from the initial stages of product development to the engineering of groundbreaking products. Minimum Qualifications: Strong knowledge of solid mechanics. Experience in implicit and explicit finite element analysis (FEA). Attention to detail and commitment to verification/validation.
